So you want to make quick money on the internet? Or you want to create a stay at home job for yourself with a solid income. Many people have heard about affiliating and tried it, but failed miserably. This is for numerous reasons, but through my experience it is because of these three main reasons.
1.) They do not have the time, or are not willing to put the time into it. You have to remember affiliate marketing is a REAL job, if you want to be successful you must be in REAL time. Everyone wants to make the quick buck, but is never willing to put in the time. And this is why only 2% of households make over $250,000 a year (factcheck.org). Sorry, I am a man of statistics, but it’s true, if you want it YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT! Sadly, not many people take it.
2.) They were not well educated on affiliate marketing. And this pretty much coincides with the above reason. Basically, they did not feel like putting in the time. There are plenty of sites that go into great and elaborate detail about affiliate marketing. I will supply you with one that I recently signed up to, http://affiliateinstruction.com/ this site has an amazing tutorial and forums to discuss any problems you might have along the way. It also has great information for affiliates that have been in the industry for awhile (which is why I joined). Finally, it offers a package that is all you will need to get started a Server and tools
3.) They did not know how to effectively use google adwords and yahoo searchmarketing. These are probably going to be your biggest catalysts to making a profit. If you can master them, you will make money. There are multiple ways to learn these, you can stumble through their own tutorials, which are rather difficult to follow. You can use trial and error, which will lose you money in the beginning, or visit Master Google and Master Yahoo
both of these products will teach you how to master google adwords and yahoo searchmarketing. I highly recommend you use both these products, however, if your wallet is tight, you must use one (google is the top search engine, so it's better to go with).
There you go, the three main reasons people have failed in affiliate marketing. Be sure not to follow in their patterns!

Great post. I really appreciate you sharing that affiliate training site. Great information on there as well. Been running into some success and some failures with google adwords and this type of training and advice is what I was in need of! THanks again,
